Sliding Doors Maintenance
Sliding doors (sliding glass doors) need periodic maintenance to
function properly, to last longer, and to be safe to use.
The main area
that sliding doors need maintenance are the bottom tracks, where dirt
accumulate from the outside, and will most likely prevent the wheels
from moving smoothly. Small part/particles may also get caught between
the tracks and the door. When moist/water is added to the equation, the
condition may be even worse, and the door may be harder to move, or may
even get stuck.
Keep the tracks clean (clean the tracks once a month), or when dirt
accumulates.
